In 1997, Saskatchewan Express
proudly opened its doors to the Saskatchewan Express Musical
Theatre Studio. In the last ten years, over 1500 students have
received quality education in the disciplines of singing,
acting and dancing. We are pleased to be celebrating our
tenth anniversary in 2007!
The Regina studio offers a
choice of recital classes, sessional classes (8 and 13 weeks)
and workshop opportunities (Reach for the Stars). Specific
instruction in vocal, dance and drama are provided by our
qualified instructors under the direction of Karen Frandsen.
They include, Megan Alfano (Dance and the Mini Express and
The Expressions), Nora Berg (Drama), Gina Aschenbrener (Dance), Janelle Eirich (Dance
and Musical Theatre), Kendra Dodd(Aesthetic Rhythmic
Gymnastics), Maegan Marshall (Dance), Maire McDonald (Dance),
Natasha Syrota (Musical Theatre), Bev Tillman (Musical
Theatre) and Richie Wade-Cummings (Dance)
The studio offers performance
opportunities for our students during Open House presentations
and our annual recital which is presented at the Conexus Arts
Centre in May of each year.
